Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA) announced that Coach Kay Yow will be one of the eleven amateur basketball figures inducted into their Hall of Fame on September 20, 2009 in Poland (at the Finals of the 2009 EuroBasket) and on September 22, 2009 @ the FIBA Hall of Fame in Madrid, Spain. According to the FIBA website, "key criterion for selection into the FIBA Hall of Fame is outstanding achievement, at the international level, to the development and status of the sport of basketball." Coach Yow clearly fits the criteria for selection into the FIBA Hall of Fame. Soon the biographical information of all 11 inductees will be available on the FIBA Hall of Fame site.
